A post-war Jungle Carbine manufactured by Royal Ordnance Factory Fazakerley in October of 1946. This is one of an estimated 170,000 made by ROF Fazakerley between 1944 and 1947, with the receiver stamped "No. 5 Mk I ROF (F) 10/46" ('ROF (F)' being Fazakerley's manufacturer stamp and '10/46' being the month and year of manufacture).
The rifle is in excellent condition, and believed to likely be unfired.
