  • An inter-war production Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE) No. 1 Mk III* rifle manufactured by Lithgow Small Arms Factory in 1926. This is one of an estimated 6000 rifles made by Lithgow SAF in 1926, with the post-1926 Lithgow crest as well as the 'MA Lithgow SMLE III 1926" stamped on the receiver beneath the bolt handle.
  • This rifle was previously a target rifle, and has a heavy barrel from Lithgow with 'MA51' stamped on it.

your images are of different guns one shows damage to the stock just under RHS stripper clip rail
the other does not ?
