A gorgeous and very rare J.P. Sauer & Sohn commercial Mauser 98 sporting rifle in 'stutzen' configuration chambered in 10.75x68mm (also known as .423 Mauser). These J.P. Sauer sporting rifles were produced in the 1920's and 1930's using Mauser actions sourced directly from Mauser Oberndorf themselves. Whilst many were made in a 'stalking rifle' configuration with a shortened stock, these full-length stutzen rifles were far rarer and feature an octagonal barrel with a quarter-rib for the rear sight. A perfect choice for anybody chasing a vintage big-game rifle!
