- A Mosin-Nagant M44 carbine manufactured by the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant in 1945. This is one of an estimated 700,000 carbines made by Izhevsk in 1945, with the barrel shank stamped with Izhevsk's standard post-1928 "arrow in triangle" maker's marking beneath the rifle's serial number and the Soviet hammer and sickle above the rifle's year of manufacture.
- Despite being manufactured in 1945, this rifle still likely saw service during the last months of the war as it appears to have undergone a factory refurbishment at a Soviet military repair depot.
- The left-hand side of the receiver also has import markings stamped upon it, indicating that at some point after its service it was imported into the United States for commercial resale by Century Arms International of Vermont.
