- A Second World War-production Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE) No. 1 Mk III* rifle manufactured by Lithgow Small Arms Factory in 1941. This is one of an estimated 82,000 rifles made by Lithgow SAF in 1941, with the post-1926 Lithgow manufacturer's stamp of 'MA Lithgow SMLE III* 1941' stamped on the receiver beneath the bolt handle.
- The butt stock is also stamped '1/45' meaning that it was returned to the Lithgow Factory for additional work in January of 1945. It also has a rare matching Lithgow-made windage adjustable rear sight.
- The forend timber has been replaced with coach wood in the 1945 factory refurbishment
